How our hair consultations work
Every hair appointment at Mintbterra opens with a dry consultation — not a quick chat over the wash basin, but a structured conversation about your hair's history, how you style it at home, and what previous cuts have done well or poorly. We look at your natural part, your crown density, and the direction of growth at the nape before recommending a shape. This is not a formality. The information gathered in those first ten minutes directly governs every decision made at the chair. For clients with fine hair, we avoid techniques that create the illusion of volume at the cost of length over time. For thick or coarse hair, we work with the weight rather than fighting it. The goal is a cut that performs correctly six weeks after the appointment — not only on the day you leave the studio.

What we do not offer — and why
Mintbterra does not offer express or walk-in haircut slots. Every booking is pre-scheduled, and every stylist holds one client at a time. If you are looking for a quick trim with no consultation, there are faster options nearby — and we say that without apology. Our process takes 60 to 90 minutes for a cut-only appointment. That time is built in deliberately: it is not inefficiency, it is standard. We also do not perform services we have assessed as likely to damage your hair's structural integrity, even when a client requests them. In those situations, we outline an alternative approach and explain the reasoning in detail.
